My journey began in Coventry, England where I first picked up a rugby ball. Rugby has taken me all around the world. I have played in a variety of countries including England, France and notably to my adopted home of New Zealand. I spent over 10 years in New Zealand playing local and semi-professional rugby, until I returned to play professionally in England. I have played for a variety of teams such as:

• Wasps

• Northampton Saints

• Coventry

• Plymouth

• Jersey

ranging from National 1, Championship and Premiership level. I am currently playing in France for Rennes in National 2.

my journey

I have been very fortunate with the coaches I have had. Notably Mike Cron (ex All Blacks scrum coach) who I have had one on one scrum training with in the past, and Rob Webber when at Jersey.

I feel there is a huge disconnection in the standard of coaching from premiership- championship level to the levels below.

I want to use my experience and knowledge to help fill this gap and give aspiring front rowers the best level of coaching possible.

The whole idea around Scrum First is to help aspiring players from local club rugby, all the way up to the professional level achieve their goals and dreams.

I want to use my technical knowledge and first hand experience to ensure my clients have a professional level of scrum training.

I will achieve this through discussions, drills, skills and analysis that I have personally used in my professional career.
